The National Service Scheme (NSS), a voluntary public service program in India, aims to develop students' personalities through community service .

This program launched in 1969 by rashtrapita  Mahatma Gandhi.

To provide students with hands-on experience in community service and develop their personality through service.

Orienting student youth to community service while they are studying in educational institutions.


Ideology:


Inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, with the motto "Not Me, But You".


Target Audience:


Students from 11th and 12th grades, technical institutions, and graduate/post-graduate programs at colleges and universities.
